    In this PowerPoint I discuss the location that I will be filming my final task. I also discuss health & safety concerns that I will be dealing with during filming, as well my film schedule. Expected participants that will be aiding in the production of my film are also listed, sorted by the role they play in the film's creation.

Planning the Filming of Among Us

  We plan to title our movie "Among Us".  It will be about a group of friends either in the woods or an a abandoned building that have a killer among them and they must find out who it is before they all die. I say it will either be in a abandoned building or the woods because we are not sure yet.  Preferably, my group and I would like to film in an abandoned building.  But, it is hard to find one.  Last year, Nicholas and Grant wanted to film their movie introduction in an abandoned building, but the area they live in has no unused, abandoned buildings. We considered using one of our homes as the building but, it would be too difficult to change a house to have the look of an abandoned building.  The alternative is filming in the woods.  Last year, they used the trees in a park near them to make it look like the movie was in the woods.  The park is Markham Park and it has a lot of space to film.  Production Blog: Editing Research and Video Editing Progression: In this video editing session I focused on my titles alongside other more minuscule details. I also took some time to analyze other pieces of cinematography in order to gain a better sense of what "works". I mostly studied montage-esque and how intensity scenes. My main focus is to perfect the scenes where there is a lot of movement and action because I am not used to editing scenes of this type. Some of the material I used was from Space Jam (1997). I specifically watched the ending scene in which the MonStars were defeated. While the pace of this scene was not as fast, I could still observe the large amounts of editing that were used. Space Jam is a film with an abundance of CGI which entails a lot of editing to make things look as realistic as possible. The film utilized a lot of medium shots in its action scenes, as oppose to the full body shots you'd expect. I may adjust my footage in post to eliminate...
